With fall sports wrapping up, winter sports are right around the corner.

For a few WCV boys basketball players, they’ve already started putting practice time. Starting this past Tuesday, the seniors have been leading optional practices. These optional practices will be taking place every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45-5:30pm until the official start of practices on November 15th.

12 seniors were in the gym on Thursday which is a good start to the preseason. The Wildcats will have a scrimmage on November 23rd at Coon Rapids-Bayard. Their season opener will be on the road against Southeast Warren Nov. 30 with tipoff at 7:30pm.
