Friday, October 29th

7:45am: Nikalos Brown 25 of Jefferson was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

10:03am: A deputy investigated an email scam in the 1100 block of N Avenue.

11:49am: A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 1200 block of B Avenue.

3:20pm: A deputy investigated a littering complaint in the 1200 block of J Avenue.

4:10pm: Jimmy Gibbons 55 of Des Moines was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

6:00pm: Eric Rosenow 37 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for probation violation.

7:30pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 1400 block of U Avenue.

Saturday, October 30th

8:49am: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 700 block of 215th Lane.

7:25pm: A deputy, Churdan Fire, Jefferson Fire, and Greene County Ambulance responded to a two-vehicle accident on 150th Street and N Avenue. Kevin Schim 76 of Georgia was south bound on N Avenue and stopped at the stop sign and pulled out in front of Ian Schmitt 21 of Jefferson, who was north bound on N Avenue negotiating the curve onto 140 th Street. Kevin was driving a 2019 Nissan NV200 that was totaled in the accident. Ian was driving a 2005 Jaguar XJ8 that was also totaled in the accident. Both were taken to the Greene County Medical Center with minor injuries. Kevin was cited for failing to yield upon entering a stop or yield intersection.

9:41pm: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 190th Street near K Avenue. Cullin Flinn 26 of Churdan struck a deer with a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado causing an estimated 1,500 dollars in damage.

10:04pm: A deputy picked up a runaway child from Webster County in the 500 block of North 16th Street, Grand Junction. The child was returned to Webster County.

Sunday, October 31st

12:02am: A deputy investigated an underage party complaint in Farlin. Nothing was found.

10:25am: A deputy assisted a motorist on W Avenue near 330th Street.

3:28pm: A deputy assisted with an unruly child in the 500 block of State Street, Scranton.

10:20pm: A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 1100 block of Lincoln Street, Scranton.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
