In the most highly anticipated football playoff game in Jefferson in years, Coach Caden Duncan’s Greene County Rams host Coach Larry Allen’s OABCIG (Ida Grove) Falcons in a Friday night Class 2A Round of 16 contest. The winner moves on to the quarterfinals Nov. 5 while the losing team will have its season end. Both teams are 8-1 on the season with eight straight wins for Greene County and 33 victories in the last 34 games and two State titles for the Falcons.

Greene County Activities Director Todd Gordon talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about the  matchup. “Coach Allen does a great job and the Rams are where we are because we also are well coached, and like OABCIG, we have great athletes on the field we well. It’s going to be a fantastic matchup!”
