Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers football has been able to put up some great numbers in their offense this, putting up at least 30 points per game, and scoring 53 offensive touchdowns on the year, which is one of the best marks in 3A football. On Friday night, they will be taking on a defense that is stingy to say the least in the Nevada Cubs, who have been one of the toughest defenses in 3A this past year.

Nevada has not allowed 20 or more points in any of their games this year in route to a 8-1 record. The most points they have given up this year is 19 to undefeated and top 3 3A team Humboldt, a program who has scored at least 34 points in every other game this year.

The Cub defense is opportunistic, with 55.5 tackles for loss and 22 team sacks as well. These also know how to turn the ball over on teams with 12 fumbles and 11 interceptions. All three tiers of the defense has stars and solid players as well.

The ADM offense will have to stay disciplined and limit turnovers, while continuing to find success in their ground game where they have averaged 7.4 yards per carry on the year.

Tiger football can be heard Friday night on True Country K1079, KKRF app, and raccoonvalleyradio.com. Kick time from Nevada high school will be at 7 o’clock and pregame coverage to begin at 6:35.
