Perry’s original charge for harassment 3rd degree.
Officers responded to the 1100 block of 2nd Street on a report of a domestic dispute, Verb~ I
only. Situation calmed.
Officers responded to the 1700 block of W sth Street on a report of crlmln~l mischief. Rear
window broken out of a vehicle. Nothing stolen from the vehicle. Estimated d<Jmaged $250.

Accident:
Unit 1 Silver 2018 Ford Explorer registered to and driven by Beth Ann Henriksen, 2516
Somerset Drive, Ames, Iowa.
Unit 2- Parked blue 2016 Chevrolet Equinox registered to Connie Smothers, 702 5th Street,
Perry.
Unit 2 was parked on the side ofthe entrance to Violet Hill Cemetery facing north. Driver of
unit 1 stated she knew that she may have impacted both mirrors of the vehicles. Unit 1 did not
have any damage. Unit 2 had damage to the driver side mirror and river side quarter panel.
Total estimated loss $500.

Arrest: Hope Nadine Shield, age 20, 3307 McKinley, Perry was taken into custody and charged
with public intoxication.
Accident:
An unknown driver struck a parked vehicle in the Hy-Vee parking lot. Vehicle struck is a Sliver
2001 Nissan Maxima registered-to~Majak Damazo Majak, 2512 Perry Park Ave., Perry. Minor
damage to the rear passenger side of the vehicle. Estimated damages $300.
