For those looking for a fun and free activity to take part in this weekend, there will be a free performance in Perry. 

Ballet Des Moines and partners will be hosting a free pop-up performance of Stephanie Martinez’s ballet Kiss by Ballet Des Moines and Para.Mar Dance Theatre beginning at 3 p.m. tomorrow in the Perry City Lot at 1221 Willis Avenue.

The interactive performance will feature hands-on demonstrations as well as excerpts from the ballet. After the performance there will be kids activities including miniature pumpkin decorating with the Perry Public Library among other activities.
