Today is the final day of National 4-H Week and it’s also the final day for several contests with the Greene County 4-H program.
Greene County ISU Extension Director Lori Mannel reminds 4-H’ers to wear their 4-H t-shirts, take a photo, post it on the Greene County 4-H Facebook page using the #GC4HGrowsLeaders2021 to be entered into a drawing for a prize. Mannel points out there’s still time to vote for your favorite decorated pumpkin that was posted on the 4-H Facebook page.
“We’ve gotten a lot of comments on those. You as a participant, as a viewer, you can go in and vote for your favorite til the end of today. So be sure that you get in on that and vote for your favorite pumpkin.”
Mannel adds, the winner will receive a prize. Other contests that took place this week included a window decorating contest and refer a new member to 4-H contest. All awards and prizes will be given at the 4-H club meetings in December and January.
