Funeral services for Russel Goldsmith, 80, of West Des Moines (formerly of Corning).  Will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at the West Des Moines Christian Church in West Des Moines, Iowa, at 10:00 a.m. with burial in the North Fairview Cemetery in Lenox, Iowa, at 3:00 p.m.   The family would appreciate everyone to wear masks.  Full military graveside rites will be conducted by the Lenox American Legion Post No. 250. Rev. Family Visitation:  The family will greet friends on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Survivors:   Russ is survived by his wife Janet; son Rodney, wife April, and children David, Hunter, and Rachael; son Scott, wife Lisa, and children Abbigail, Campbell, Griffin, and Reese; daughter Kristen, husband Joe and children Stella and Amelia; brother Bill, and son Darren and family; sister Margery Huffman, and sons Chris and Aaron and their families.
