Guthrie County Hospital recently closed their east parking for maintenance. 

Emergency Preparedness Coordinator Sandy Atkinson explains why this project started. 

“ Corrupt asphalt in that area and it is not as well lit as we would like for our staff and patients.”

Atkinson says that they will be adding concrete and additional lighting to the parking lot. The Guthrie County Hospital requests those who are utilizing Rehab Services, Cardiac Rehab, Fitness Center and Sneakers Café, to park in the south parking lot and enter through the Cardiac Rehab entrance. According to the Guthrie County Hospital the estimated finish date for the project is the last week in October.
