For veterans who may have a difficult time getting to appointments, a mobile medical unit will be coming to Adel soon. 

The Central Iowa Veterans Affairs Virtual Health has scheduled an onsite visit beginning at 8 a.m. October 6th in Adel and veterans who schedule an appointment, receive a flu or COVID-19 vaccine or battlefield acupuncture, can receive a free t-shirt while supplies last. 

The mobile medical unit will allow veterans the ability to meet with their primary healthcare provider in a secure and private virtual medical room.
