Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers football will have a key showdown on Friday night against the Panthers of Creston in Class 3A District 6 play, with both teams coming in with a record of 4-1.
One thing that both offenses have been able to do extremely well this year has been run the football, and the battle of the trenches could prove massive towards a victory for either side in the game. Both sides as teams have over 1,000 yards rushing on the season with ADM at 1,462 and Creston at 1,141 yards. The Panthers have 15 team touchdowns on the ground with 10 of them coming from senior Briley Hayes, who also has 472 rushing yards through five games.
ADM as a team has 19 rushing touchdowns on the year, with Matt Dufoe accounting for 10 of them at the quarterback position and sophomore Brevin Doll adding 7 more to the tally as well.
For both of these teams defensive lines and linebacking positions, they will have their work cut out for them on Friday night as this game has the potential to be very close.
You can listen to the game on True Country K1079, raccoonvalleyradio.com, and the KKRF app. Kickoff from Creston will be at 7 o’clock this Friday night.
