The process of buying a home can be stressful, but Dallas County Extension and Outreach offers an online class to help out. 

The online, self-paced course will give education to prospective homebuyers and participants will also earn an education course certificate which is required for some loans. The cost for the program is $45. 

The course consists of six lessons as well as the final test which can be taken as many times as needed, and once completed then participants can print off their certificate. Lessons focus on shopping for a home, securing a mortgage and closing the loan among other things. 

With the class being a self-paced course you can register for the course at any time.
