6:39am: A deputy assisted a motorist near the intersection of N Avenue and 220th Street.

5:45pm: A deputy responded to a residential alarm in the 1500 blk of Q Avenue

Tuesday, September 21st

6:52am: Deputies assisted the Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) with a search warrant in the 800 blk of Percival Street, Grand Junction.

7:14am: A deputy performed a welfare check in the 300 blk of U Avenue.

9:18am: A deputy investigated a headstone that was backed into by a vehicle at the Highland Cemetery in Churdan.

9:38am: A deputy did a welfare check in the 1600 blk of Meadow Avenue.

11:43am: A deputy did a welfare check in the 700 blk of Lincoln Street, Scranton

12:32pm: Deputies did a welfare check in the 400 blk of North Maple Street, Jefferson

4:45pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 300 blk of 140th Street.

6:16pm: A deputy assisted with a court committal at the Greene County Medical Center

10:03pm: A deputy investigated a domestic abuse in the 1000 blk of Railroad Street, Grand Junction

Wednesday, September 22nd

12:28am: The Sheriff investigated a hit and run near the intersection 305th Street and Terrace Avenue.

1:38am: A deputy investigated a noise complaint in the 700 blk of 13th Street South, Grand Junction.

7:54am: A deputy responded to cattle on the roadway in the 1600 blk of 255th Street.

1:46pm: A deputy responded to a careless driver in the 300 blk of 220th Street.

2:59pm: A deputy assisted the Department of Human Resources in the 700 blk of School Street, Churdan.

8:40pm: A deputy assisted the Iowa State Patrol with a traffic stop on 220th Street near Pioneer Avenue.

10:45pm: The Greene County Jail booked in Vashara Green (23) of Des Moines, IA. She was booked in for Possession of Controlled Substance- Marijuana 2nd offense and driving while suspended.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
