Tuesday, September 21st

2:07am: A caller advised of Loud Music in the 400 Block of North Chestnut Street. The officer located a group sitting by a fire in the area and spoke to them about the noise complaint.

3:47pm: Robert Eliserio reported a gas can on the roadway on the overpass. The officer removed the hazard from the road.

5:29pm: Cindy Rowland reported her juvenile child had not returned home after threatening to run away. Officers entered the child as Missing into the NCIC System and began searching for them. An officer located the juvenile in Jefferson, and they were taken to Er for evaluation by a medical doctor.

8:57pm: Lona Mitchell reported finding suspected drug paraphernalia while cleaning out a residence in the 300 Block of East Garfield Street. The officer took possession of the items for destruction.

9:29pm: The GC Medical Center requested an officer to assist a patient who had been discharged, but had no way to get home. The officer drove the subject to a residence in town.

Wednesday, September 22nd

12:02am: While performing a Vacation Home Check, the officer located an Open Door to a residence in the 100 Block of South Maple Street. The officer searched the residence and secured the home.

12:28am: A deputy requested an officer to watch for a vehicle in Jefferson that had been involved in a Hit & Run Accident in the county. The officer did not locate the vehicle in Jefferson.

12:31am: An officer located an Open Door at 501 West Greenewood Road and secured the building.

1:38pm: Larissa Bushman reported a Stray Dog near Elm and Park Streets. The officer did not locate the animal.

7:37pm: Teresa Ball reported catching a Stray Dog in the 300 Block of North Pinet Street. The officer placed the animal in the Animal Holding Facility.

8:40pm: An officer assisted a State Trooper with a Traffic Stop near 220th and Pioneer.

9:01pm: Marlyn Purdie reported a Car alarm sounding in the parking lot at 115 West State Street. The officer checked the vehicle in question and found it to be locked and undamaged.

9:21pm: Javier Solis reported his Juvenile daughter had not come home after school. It was believed she was in Perry with an unknown juvenile male. The juvenile was entered as “Missing.”

******** An officer has completed a Theft Investigation that began on 09/17/2021 at 1207 North Elm Street. An Arrest Warrant has been requested for Luther Hebert, 25 of Green Bay, WI. For, “Theft 5th Degree – Simple.”

Thursday, September 23rd

7:24pm: Tina Thompson captured a Stray Dog at 103 South Walnut Street. The officer placed the dog in the Animal Holding Facility.

10:32am: A caller advised of a couple involved in an argument in a garage at 411 South Locust Street. Officers arrived the investigation led to the arrest of Mark David Burgart, 44 of Jefferson for, “Violation of Protective Order – Simple and Obstruction of Emergency Communication – Simple.”

10:55am: Arlene Johnson reported a damaged mailbox and post at 304 West Vest Street. The officer has no leads to follow up on.

6:29pm: Madeline Meyer reported Loud Music in the area of Pinet and Lincoln Way Streets. An officer spoke to a resident in the area about the noise complaint.

8:23pm: Dalton Weber requested an officer at 204 East Clark Street to assist in a Civil Property Issue.

8:41pm: Tyler Rysavy spoke with an officer concerning a Civil Issue occurring in Jefferson.
