The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center School District has seen some COVID-19 cases since the school year started.
Superintendent Dennis McClain states what they have seen as far as cases within the district.
“Well in Guthrie Center we have had 12 elementary school students sent home, six of them tested positive (for COVID-19) and three have returned, three high school students have been sent home and only one has tested positive (for COVID-19), and we did have one staff member test positive (for COVID-19).”
McClain says as of right now their numbers are low and happy with how they are handling reports cases.
