Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers cross country competed in a massive run at Ballard on Monday, and they were able to find some good team results in the massive fields, with the boys team finishing 5th out of 24 teams and the girls 12th out of 22 teams.
The boys had an outstanding day on the course, as they were able to get three different runners in the top 25, being lead by senior Cooper Greenslade, who was able to post a time of 17 minutes and 5 seconds, grabbing an 8th place finish overall. Senior Quinton Kimrey was able to finish 22nd with a time of 17 minutes and 54 seconds, and freshmen Torin Timmerman finished 25th with a time of 18 minutes and 4 seconds. The Tigers had a total of 155 team points.
Geneva Timmerman rose up to the competition with the junior getting a time of 20 minutes 22 seconds to pace the Tigers, finishing 3rd overall out of 152 runners.
The Tigers will be competing in another large meet this upcoming Saturday when they race against numerous teams at Central College in Pella.
