The Iowa High School Athletic Association released Class 1A and 2A dual meet regional pairings on Sunday and the Perry Blue Jays travel north to Humboldt to take on Webster City at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11. The winner meets either Humboldt or Estherville-Lincoln Central shortly after the first round of dual meets have been completed. One of the four teams will advance to the Feb. 19 State Dual Meet Championships at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
The Blue Jays qualified by winning the sectional hosted by Perry on Saturday. Kuemper Catholic (Carroll) was second at the Perry sectional and the Knights will be traveling northwest to Sergeant Bluff-Luton for a dual meet regional.
In Class 1A, Ogden won its sectional and the Bulldogs go to State Center to take on Dike-New Hartford with West Marshall and Iowa Valley (Marengo) the other teams involved. South Central Calhoun plays host to a 1A dual meet regional. Clarion-Goldfield meets Manson-Northwest-Webster and the host Titans take on Alta-Aurelia in the opening round.
