Also, Perry Hy-Vee is providing free dine-in breakfast to all firefighters, police officers, medics, veterans and active duty military personnel starting at 9 a.m. today and Hy-Vee will be doing a cookout until 2 p.m. with free burgers for those members as well.
Also, Big Al’s BBQ in Adel and West Des Moines will be doing a free meal movement in honor of fallen heroes and their families. All law enforcement, fire departments, first responders, veterans and current military members and their families are invited to a free buffet from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today.
All Big Al’s locations will be accepting donations in cash or credit card through September 30th to benefit the September 11 Victim Compensation Fund and The Wounded Warrior Project.
