Guthrie County Relay For Life is set to start on September 13th with the kick off event. 

Committee Member Kim Durst says Guthrie County Relay for Life is for all people that have been touched by cancer. Durst explains the details of the kick off event. 

“It’s a great way to come in if you have any questions regarding our event or would like to donate you know if its monetarily or if you want to donate a silent auction item. All that is greatly appreciated.”    

Durst says that the kick off is also for anyone that wants to volunteer to sign up, turn in or order your luminary signs to honor or remember cancer survivors, as well as shirt pick ups and meet the committee members that put the event together. The kick off will be from 5pm to 7pm at the Farm Bureau Hall in Guthrie Center. The main event will take place September 19th at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds.
