As we continue the transition into fall, an annual local festival is coming up later this month. 

The 12th Annual Penoach Vineyard and Winery Apple Festival will be taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. September 18th in Adel. The admission fee is a non-perishable food item that will be donated to local food pantries. 

There will be plenty of activities to participate in including live music by Brick n’ Bob from 1-5 p.m., hot apple wine and slushies, tractor and wagon rides, face painting and plenty of food for people to enjoy. 

There will also be 15 vendors providing various items including produce, crafts, baked goods and many unique items that are all Iowa grown or created. Everyone is welcome to attend the event.
