
Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center’s football team beat Woodward-Granger High School 62 to 6 on September 3rd.
The player of the game was Gavin Cornelison with 18 carries for 246 yard rushing and four touchdowns with his longest being 41 yards. Other notable players Hayden Tunink and Mike Fuller scored touchdowns after recovering a fumble. The Chargers ran the ball for 436 yards and holding the Hawks to only 36 yards rushing.
The Chargers improve to 2-0 after the win over Woodward-Granger and will face Des Moines Christian School at home for ACGC’s homecoming game.
