The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office was involved in a high speed chase over the weekend.
The Sheriff’s Office says at approximately 8 p.m. Sunday they were advised that the Webster County Sheriff’s Office was involved in a chase with a vehicle on Highway 169. Dallas County Deputies entered the pursuit just north of Minburn.
The Sheriff’s Office says deputies deployed stop sticks on the suspect’s vehicle, which then continued to travel into Minburn before crashing into a parked car where two males exited the vehicle and both were apprehended.
According to the Webster County Sheriff’s Office the driver, Amarrion Isom was charged with eluding, speeding, reckless driving, failure to maintain control and possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The passenger Nyzier Evans was charged with trafficking stolen weapons.
