A high speed chase Sunday night ended near Minburn.

According to the Iowa State Patrol Public Information Officer Sergeant Alex Dinkla, a Webster County Deputy tried to initiate a traffic stop Sunday evening and the vehicle refused. A high speed chase ensued on Highway 169, which ended in Minburn. Dinkla says a suspect fled the vehicle on foot and was soon apprehended. Dallas County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the incident, along with the state patrol.
