After two playing dates and three matches between Aug. 24 and 26, the Greene County High School volleyball team is back at it tomorrow in the Greene County High School gym. It’s the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference opener vs. PCM (Monroe). Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s Rams are 3-0 on the season and 7-0 in sets, all vs. Class 1A competition. PCM has played far more matches than the Rams and will bring a 5-9 match record into Tuesday’s action.

Junior Bella Schroeder is Greene County’s kills leader in the early going with 23. Junior Natalie Heupel leads in assists with 54, with Schroeder leading the team in blocks with six, and three Rams are leading in serving percentage, all above 94%. Heupel is 33-34 (97.1%) with freshman Emma Ewalt 37-39 (94.9%), and sophomore Graci Cooklin at 18 of 19 (94.7%).

The varsity match is scheduled to begin around 6:30 p.m.
