Summer is still hanging on and a community in Dallas County will host a special event for people to enjoy. 

DeSoto Fun Days will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. September 18th and will feature plenty of fun activities including a parade at 11 a.m., food trucks from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and kids games at the Little Bridge Park. 

There will also be kids water fights and a dunk tank by the DeSoto Fire and Rescue, along with crafts and a storytime from noon to 2 p.m. by the Desoto Public Library. There will also be a car show from noon to 2 p.m., sponsored by Olson’s Body and Paint.
