As people get older, managing finances becomes an important part of everyday life and Dallas County Extension has a free curriculum for youth. 

Financial literacy is a program that has lesson plans available for kindergarten through fifth graders at no cost. The curriculum provides four lessons for each grade level which address Iowa’s financial literacy content standards. 

Most of the lessons will use storybooks as the main activity which also use activities to extend learning and initiate discussions at home.
