One Greene County juvenile is sentenced and two other suspects await trails from December’s 18 BB gun incidents in Grand Junction.

On January 31st, 17 year-old Jacob Vregudenhill was accused of shooting 18 vehicle windows and homes with a BB gun from December 23rd through the 29th.  He was charged with a Class C Felony for second degree burglary and a Class D Felony for second degree criminal mischief and the juvenile admitted to the criminal mischief charge.

According to court documents, Judge William Oslund found Vregudenhill to be a delinquent and as to a report written by the Iowa Juvenile Court Services, ordered the minor to be taken to the Department of Juvenile Court Services and placed in a highly structured group care facility and remain there until the facility deems him to be released.  Vregudenhill was also ordered to pay victim restitution and to not make contact with his co-defendants who are 17 year-old Dylan Lansman and 18 year-old Joshuah Blumberg both from Grand Junction.

The Class C Felony charge on Vregudenhill was dismissed.

The Greene County Clerk of Court’s office says that Lansman faces the same charges as Vregudenhill and will have his adjudicatory hearing on February 21st and Blumberg is facing a second degree criminal mischief charge and will have his arraignment hearing on February 14th.
