Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers football is gearing up for week 2 action against the Ballard Bombers on Friday night, as the Tigers will be looking to go 2-0 for the first time since 2018, when the Tigers started 4-0 to begin the year. The Tigers will be hoping to build off of momentum off of their week 1 win, as they take on an opponent in Ballard who they haven’t seen in a few years. ADM is 1-0 to start the year while Ballard fell 47-13 to Bondurant-Farrar to begin the year.

The last time that these two teams have faced off was back in 2016 when Ballard was able to pick up the victory 39-25. The two teams have faced off seven times since 2008, with Ballard leading the series 4-3, with the last five games being decided by double figures.

Despite the lack of familiarity between the two sides on the gridiron, both of the teams have probably had players compete amongst one another in other sports so names and athletic abilities probably will be recognized.

Friday night’s game will be a tough but good challenge for the Tigers, with kickoff to be at 7 pm. You can listen to the game on True Country K1079, raccoonvalleyradio.com, and the KKRF app.
