For the first two games of the 2021 season the Panorama Panthers Volleyball Team showed promise as the season continues.
The Panthers faced off against the Interstate 35 Roadrunners on Tuesday of last week and came away with a victory after winning all three sets to take the match. Then on Thursday the Panthers faced the Earlham Cardinals losing all three sets to come out of the first week with a record of 1-1. While the Panthers didn’t win both games they showed promise in the young season. Head Volleyball Coach Joanne Sandage says the team played well.
“From our young team I am seeing a lot of promise.”
Sandage says it’s been a good start to the season and the team is doing some good things. Sandage says the team will look to use the loss against the Cardinals to learn from and improve upon moving ahead in the season. Sandage says the goal for their upcoming game is to continue to get rid of some of the mistakes and work on improving various aspects of the game.
“I am optimistic that we will take three games you know with what we have bringing to the table.”
The Panthers will look to improve on their 1-1 record when they face the Ogden Bulldogs tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. at the Ogden High School.
