The Panorama Panthers Girls and Boys Cross Country Teams got their first taste of action at the Southeast Valley Invitational at the Gowrie Municipal Golf Course last Thursday.

The Panthers Cross Country teams went up against 13 other schools last week and while they didn’t finish in the rankings the Panthers had multiple runners score times within the top 50. For the boys two runners in Anton Uffhausen who ran 19:14 and placed 12th and Avery Norman who ran a 23:31 and placed 45th.

For the Panther Girls Cross Country Team Payton Beckman ran a 24:10 and place 5th at the meet, Leah Fett who ran a 26:12 and placed 14th as well as Avery Bahrenfuss who ran a 29:46 and placed 24th for the Panthers at the Southeast Valley Invitational last Thursday.

With individual runners placing well at the last meet runners will look to replicate that when the Panthers  look ahead to their next meet which is a junior varsity and varsity invitational taking place at 5 p.m. September 3rd at Madrid High School.
