A rural Adel man has been found guilty of multiple charges stemming from a murder investigation in December of last year.
According to court documents, 37-year-old Mark Daniel Mash has been found guilty by a jury of a Class A Felony of first degree murder and the Class D Felony for dominion/control of a firearm by a domestic abuser.
The charges stem from an investigation that began on December 22nd, 2020 into the death of 20-year-old Jakob Mash of Perry by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
The sentencing hearing has been set for October 1st.
