The Dallas County Conservation Board and Perry Public Library are offering a free family program later this month and everyone is invited to attend.
Naturalist Laura Zaugg will present the Bird Buddies program on Thursday, February 20th at the library.
Attendees will be able to discover what birds can be found in their own backyards and how to identify them by sight and sound.
The interactive session gives families a chance to go on a bird “hike” in the library using books and binoculars and make a treat for to take home and place outside for the birds.
