A reminder that tomorrow evening will be an opportunity for Greene County youth to get some medical items taken care of prior to the new school year starting.
The Greene County Family Medicine Clinic is offering free sports physicals from 4-7pm. Students, as well as parents and guardians just need to bring their sports physical forms with them, as no appointments or insurance is needed.
Additionally, Greene County Public Health will be conducting a back to school clinic also from 4-7pm. Services that will be provided during the clinic include, required and recommended vaccines for the school year, lead and hemoglobin screenings, as well as dental screenings and each child will receive a free backpack. Appointments are encouraged by contacting public health at 515-386-3228.
The free sports physicals and the back to school clinic will take place at Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson.
