Greene County football camp wrapped up yesterday and a fundraising golf tournament is being held today at Jefferson Community Golf Course. Official practice for the Rams in football, cross-country and volleyball starts this Monday.

Jesse Miller is a junior who is drawing attention from college football and basketball coaches. His Dad, Mark, was on Paton-Churdan’s State Championship football teams in the fall of 1985 and ’86, and Jesse’s brother, Tyler, is a redshirt freshman offensive lineman at Iowa State University who checks around 6′ 8″ and 325 lbs. “Tyler’s doing well. Summer Camp for them is coming up, so once that gets going they usually go to a hotel and that’s where they start to lock it in and that’s when it gets real, real serious.”

Jesse is hoping Tyler gets playing time this season for the top 10 ranked Cyclones, if not in the starting lineup, then on special teams.
