For a popular trail in the Raccoon Valley Radio-listening area, today is the last day to vote for a national contest. 

The Raccoon River Valley Trail is in the running to be in the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy Hall of Fame against two other rail trails including New Hampshire’s Northern Rail Trail and Deleware’s Georgetown-Lewes Trail and Junction and Breakwater Trail. 

The voting will run until 10:59 p.m. central standard time today and those who would like to vote can do so as many times as they want. If selected, the Raccoon River Valley Trail would join more than 30 other iconic trails in the hall of fame.
