For an annual festival that will take place next week the deadline to register for one competition is tomorrow. 

The 42nd Annual Adel Sweet Corn Festival will take place August 13th and 14th, with the Sweet Corn Princess Contest scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on that Friday, The contest is open to all Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District girls who are entering 2nd-4th grade this fall. 

The princess and her court are selected by random drawing. The deadline to register is 6 p.m. tomorrow.
