Ram multi-sport athlete Max Riley talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about his career, and how being a senior and a team leader strikes him. “It strikes me kind of surprising, two my brother, which were really fun. Looking at what he did, it’s just kind of surprising that I’m going to be the top dog now. It’ll be sad when it’s over.”
Fortunately for Riley and the Rams, it’s not over yet. Riley was a receiver and defensive back in 2020 for the 7-3 Rams and he earned some All-District recognition. Greene County has their preseason camp this week, then official practice begins on Aug. 9.
Coach Caden Duncan and his coaching staff return the majority of playing time from last season, plus have some newcomers that figure to get varsity minutes. The Rams open the season in Guthrie Center vs. ACGC on Friday, Aug. 27 on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
