Guthrie County Conservation and Tourism is asking families to put a temporary stop to activities from July 25 through August 1 to plan an end of the summer family vacation. 

The State of Iowa Tourism Manager Amy Zeigler says they are thrilled to designate a week to prioritize quality time with your family. She offered that whether your family is adventure seekers, foodies or artsys, Iowa has plenty of places close to home.
