For families who would like to have their children brush up on reading skills and prepare for the school year, a Guthrie County library will be hosting a free program.
The Stuart Public Library and Guthrie County Extension are co-hosting the School Ready Readers program from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesdays from July 27th through August 24th at the library. The program is free and food will be provided during the sessions.
Those attending will discover simple tricks for busy families to build learning opportunities and help get children ready for school by improving their reading and writing skills while also connecting with their child through activities.
Those who would like to attend are asked to pre-register for the event by July 26th. For more information and to register you can go here.
