The West Central Valley baseball season ended on Monday. Let’s take a look at the 2021 season by the numbers.
WCV improved exponentially in the hitting department. Despite their 6-21 record the Wildcats were very successful offensively. In the shortened 2020 season WCV had 33 hits as a team. 2021 had a huge jump getting 100 hits as a team. The charge was led by Sophomore Braiden Beane. He went from four hits in 2020 to a 20 in 2021. Close behind Beane was Sophomore Kaedon Lindsay who had 18 hits on the year. The Wildcats also had a big step up in the RBI department. They went from 11 in 2020 to 53 in 2021.
WCV will look to take it’s young team and increase their offensive output once again in 2022.
