The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.
The Council will consider for approval the second reading to amend an ordinance to add abandoned connections and temporary vacancies, along with a temporary water service and rate charge. They will also consider for approval the second reading to amend an ordinance for terraces, decks and patios, and adding feral cat colonies to the animal protection and control ordinance.
Next, the Council will consider approving its acceptance of $33,000 from Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation, a contract with the Franks Design Group for a library study, a 28E agreement for the joint operation and maintenance of the new law enforcement center with Greene County, the proposal to sell property at 703 North Wilson Avenue and set a public hearing. Additionally, they will consider approving a change order for a shared use path project, along with the final acceptance of the project.
The Council will also consider approving a resolution for the end of the 2021 fiscal year transfers, a resolution in support of a state workforce tax credit application for the former middle school property and consider approving the city administrator’s annual contract.
The meeting will take place at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
