After the school year comes to an end it’s not uncommon for staffing changes to take place, and the Perry Community School District is no different.

Superintendent Clark Wicks says there were a few personnel changes including Ned Menke as the new middle school principal after current middle school principal Shaun Kruger left the district.

“First of all shoutout to Mr. (Shaun) Kruger who has served our middle school as principal for 16 years. He’s going to be going to West Liberty as a superintendent so congratulations to Mr. (Shaun) Kruger.”

Wicks tells Raccoon Valley Radio with Menke moving from elementary principal to middle school principal, Ryan Marzen will go from associate elementary principal to the head principal position.

“Good to see these two stepping up and making I think some great changes for us, I know they will do a great job with it.”

Wicks says he thanks Kruger for his 16 years as the middle school principal.
