Kicking off today will be a wide array of activities for people to take part in for the Fourth of July event in Yale. 

The event will kick off today with the 7th Annual Three on the 3rd 5k Fun Run/Walk at 8 a.m. and finish with a street dance featuring the band Rukkus from 8 p.m. to midnight. Tomorrow will feature the parade at 11 a.m., with registrations to be from 9-10:30 a.m.

Following the parade, the horse show will begin at noon as well as the car show until 2 p.m. There will also be other activities including face painting, water fights, cornhole tournament and a cake walk throughout the day. 

The fireworks sponsored by the City of Yale, Farmers State Bank and Yale Community Club will end the event at dusk.
