After the school year comes to an end it’s not uncommon for staffing changes to take place, and the Perry Community School District is no different.

Perry Superintendent Clark Wicks says there were a few changes within the school including Ned Menke moving to be the Perry Middle School Principal after current middle school principal Shaun Kruger left the district.

“First of all shoutout to Mr. (Shaun) Kruger who has served our middle school as principal for 16 years. He’s going to be going to West Liberty as a superintendent so congratulations to Mr. (Shaun) Kruger.”

Wicks tells Raccoon Valley Radio with this change Menke will be moving to the open spot as the middle school principal from being the elementary principal. Wicks says current associate elementary principal Ryan Marzen will replace Menke as the head principal for the elementary.

“Good to see these two stepping up and making I think some great changes for us, I know they will do a great job with it.”

Wicks says he thanks Kruger for his 16 years as the middle school principal.
