WCV softball played two games in separate tournaments over the weekend.

The Wildcats started their two game stretch against Southeast Warren. Southeast Warren came into the game with very impressive 18-1 record. The Warhawks would show their dominance early scoring 5 runs in the 1st. The Wildcats batters struggled against the Warhawks defense. Southeast Warren would win this one 12-0.

WCV would finish the weekend taking on the Seymour Warriors. The Wildcats batters would rebound in this matchup. WCV went down early 2-0 after the 1st inning. They’d respond by scoring 5 runs in the 2nd. Offense took over this game for the Wildcats getting the win 10-3.

The Wildcats will hit the diamond again to take on Madrid. First pitch is at 5:30pm in Madrid.
