Dallas Center – Grimes baseball was able to climb out of a deficit on Wednesday night against Pella Christian and pick up the victory as they were able to take the game by the score of 6-4.

The Mustangs were able to put up runs in the first, fifth, and seventh innings after climbing back from a 4-2 deficit to pick up their 10th win of the season and move within a game of .500. The Mustangs were able to tally eight hits on the night and take advantage of a couple of Eagle errors as well as they continue to ascend higher into the Little Hawkeye Conference standings.

After scoring a pair of runs in both the first and the second innings, DCG pitching was able to shutdown Pella Christian the rest of the night and keep the team in the game, in which they would ultimately win.

DCG will be looking to get above .500 on Friday, when they take on the Dutch of Pella in Grimes.
