ADM Tigers baseball was looking to build a winning streak on Wednesday night against North Polk, but unfortunately had a quiet night offensively as they fell short by the score of 5-1. The Tigers were only able to grab two hits on the night overall, with the lone run happening in the fourth inning on a Grant Garton RBI double.
The Tigers gave up five runs in the first inning, as North Polk was able to bring multiple players to the plate and take advantage of some ADM mistakes as well. Tate Stine-Smith was able to pitch five innings in the game, and was good in the final four innings, but the Tigers couldn’t make a comeback after an early deficit.
ADM will be returning to the field tonight in Huxley as the Tigers will be hoping to pick up a key RRC win over Ballard.
