For those who may be interested in learning about disc golf, there will be an event this weekend in Adel. 

Starting at 9 a.m. Saturday in Evans Park in Adel will be the Disc Golf Day, hosted by Adel Parks and Recreation. The event will teach people about disc golf and how to play. The free event will also provide the discs for those who don’t have the needed equipment.  

The event is open to all ages and experience levels, and  there will also be friendly age group competitions, and informal competitions following for those who are interested.
