Grand Junction Pool

A reminder that two local Greene County swimming pools are now open.

The Jefferson Municipal Pool is open daily from 11:30am-6pm. Adult lap swim takes place from 11:30am-1pm, with open swim from 1-5pm and 5-6 is family time. Daily and seasonal passes are available at the pool or the Greene County Community Center. Jefferson Parks and Recreation Director Denny Hammen talks about some other general rules for the pool.

“Yeah we’ll take a break every hour for ten minutes. We started a campaign of cleaning. During that break, the lifeguards would use that opportunity to swipe things down, there again because of the COVID last year, but we thought that was such a good idea that we’re going to keep that enforced this year as well.”

The City of Grand Junction swimming pool is also open daily from 1-6pm. Daily and seasonal passes are available at the pool or Grand Junction City Hall.
