The WCV softball team made history Monday night.

The Wildcats went up against Panorama in a match up of two 6-9 squads. Both teams seemed evenly matched. Panorama took an early 1-0 after the 1st inning. WCV responded by scoring a run of their own tying the game 1-1.

Both teams added two runs in the 3rd making a 3-3 ballgame heading into the 4th. A big 5th inning from the Wildcats gave them four runs and a 7-4 lead. They would hold on to win after scoring three more runs in the 6th. The final score was 10-4.

This WCV team makes history notching their seventh win of the season. This is the most wins from the softball team since 2015. The season isn’t over yet. The Wildcats will be on the road taking on Ogden in a double header. First pitch is at 5:30PM.
